Senior SoC Subsystem and I/O Architect - LPU

NVIDIA seeks a Senior SoC Subsystem & I/O Architect on the LPU team to convert product requirements into architecture and subsystem specifications for uncore, IO, memory, firmware-facing, boot/reset, safety, fault tolerance, diagnostics, and power subsystems. Responsibilities include specifying behavior for enumeration, capability discovery, configuration flows, memory sequence control, coherence, address mapping, interrupts, virtualization, error handling, and firmware-visible controls; building/maintaining functional and architectural models (C++, SystemC, Python) to validate intent before RTL/silicon; and driving tradeoffs across bandwidth, latency, power, area, timing, scalability, reliability, security, and debuggability. Requires 8+ years of SoC/subsystem/IO/interconnect architecture experience and strong collaboration and communication skills. Listed base salary ranges by level: 184,000–287,500 USD (Level 4) and 224,000–356,500 USD (Level 5).
