How to Submit Jobs on WantRemote

WantRemote publishes remote jobs through a source-driven employer workflow. We do not accept manual job submissions.

Employers register a company workspace, claim early access, connect a supported ATS or a compliant JSON feed, validate the source, and run syncs from the employer dashboard.

Current Employer Flow

  1. 1. Register a company workspace and confirm ownership.
  2. 2. Complete onboarding and claim free early access while the employer platform is in limited release.
  3. 3. Connect a supported ATS or a compliant JSON feed.
  4. 4. Run source validation and activate the source.
  5. 5. Run syncs and review import status from the employer workspace.

WantRemote also instruments the employer funnel across onboarding and source setup so operational issues can be detected earlier and fixed faster.

Who Can Publish Jobs

  • Verified employers with a company workspace on WantRemote.
  • Companies hiring for remote roles only.
  • Teams that can provide an official ATS board or a stable public JSON feed.

WantRemote is source-driven. Anonymous submissions, manual one-off postings, and non-remote listings are not accepted.

Supported ATS

Self-serve ATS onboarding currently supports the following API-based providers:

Greenhouse Ashby JazzHR Lever Pinpoint Recruitee Rippling SmartRecruiters Workable

During setup, the employer workspace asks for the exact provider-specific fields needed by the import robot, such as a board slug and, for Lever, an optional EU zone.

JSON Feed Option

If your company does not use one of the supported ATS providers, you can publish through a JSON feed.

  • The feed must be public and available over `https://`.
  • The feed must contain only remote jobs.
  • Jobs must match the current WantRemote JSON schema.
  • If non-remote or invalid jobs are detected, the feed may be blocked until corrected.

Publication Requirements

  • Jobs must be remote and sourced from the employer’s official system.
  • Every vacancy needs a valid job URL and direct application URL.
  • Description content must be substantive enough to pass quality checks.
  • Jobs that fail validation or publication quality checks may sync but remain blocked from publication.
