- Analyze supplier spend, category and commodity trends, freight and logistics costs, inventory performance, supplier concentration, payment practices, and other working capital drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Use spend analytics to prioritize cost-reduction opportunities by supplier, category, business unit, product family, region, and purchasing owner.
- Lead financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting for DPO, supplier payment terms, inventory, cash conversion cycle, free cash flow, and other working capital measures.
- Develop financial models, business cases, sensitivity analyses, and scenario plans to support sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract changes, inventory strategies, logistics decisions, and operational improvements.
- Quantify financial impact on gross margin, operating income, EBITDA, the balance sheet, and cash flow; monitor results against approved business cases and commitments.
- Support annual plans, forecasts, long-range plans, and strategic financial planning by incorporating spend baselines, validated savings, timing, ownership, inventory performance, and working capital initiatives.
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, KPI scorecards, supplier reporting, and executive-ready summaries that clearly explain savings, margin, inventory, working capital, cash flow, and forecast-to-actual results.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leaders, challenge assumptions, identify root causes, influence decisions, and support corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting, simplify processes, strengthen controls, and improve decision-making; perform other responsibilities as assigned.
