
Sysdig is seeking a strategic, business-oriented Vice President of Human Resources to lead our global People organization during an exciting period of transformation at Sysdig.
Reporting to (INSERT), this hands-on executive will serve as a trusted advisor to the executive leadership while shaping the people strategies that enable business success and foster a high-performing, engaged culture. The successful candidate will balance strategic leadership with operational excellence, leading a lean, global HR organization dedicated to delivering an exceptional employee experience, strengthening leadership capability, and building programs that attract, develop, reward, and retain outstanding talent.
This role oversees a Global Team of Human Resources Business Partners, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations & Technology, Employee Experience and Communications across a globally distributed workforce —and the successful leader will remain personally engaged in the company's highest-impact people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to develop and execute people strategies that support business growth, organizational effectiveness, and company transformation.
- Lead and develop a Global People organization, ensuring scalable, data-driven, and business-focused HR programs across all core HR disciplines.
- Own the company's Total Rewards strategy, including executive compensation, global compensation philosophy, benefits, and innovative equity programs that attract and retain exceptional talent.
- Lead management support for the Board's Compensation Committee, partnering closely with Finance, Legal, external advisors, and Board members on executive compensation, equity, governance, and leadership matters.
- Serve as a trusted coach to executives on organizational design, leadership effectiveness, talent planning, succession, and change management.
- Partner across the executive team on workforce planning, organizational health, culture, employee engagement, and leadership development.
- Continue advancing modern HR capabilities through AI-enabled processes, workforce analytics, and scalable technology solutions.
- Ensure global compliance while balancing business objectives across multiple countries and regions.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including senior leadership within a high-growth technology company.
- Experience leading a global HR organization in a privately held, venture-backed and/or private equity-backed company.
- Demonstrated success shaping organizational culture, developing leaders at all levels, and creating compelling employee experiences that reinforces company values while driving engagement, performance, and retention.
- Expertise in Executive Compensation, Board governance, Compensation Committee leadership, and private company equity strategy.
- Demonstrated experience designing and administering strategic equity programs, including executive and broad-based equity, retention programs, and long-term incentive plans.
- Experience leading globally distributed teams and building strong partnerships across multiple regions, cultures, and time zones while fostering alignment, collaboration, and an inclusive employee experience.
- Proven success leading organizations through transformation, organizational change, and positioning companies for their next stage of growth and maturity. ● Exceptional executive presence, judgment, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business and financial acumen, with a proven ability to partner effectively with CEOs, executive leadership teams, Finance, and Legal.
