Job Summary

Our client is looking for a driven Business Intelligence Analyst to support our data visualization and reporting infrastructure. In this role, you will build and maintain Power BI dashboards, assist with data modeling, and help automate ETL processes. Working closely with senior team members, you will translate business requirements into actionable insights while ensuring reporting efficiency and data quality across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Dashboard & Report Development: Build and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and support executive decision-making processes.

  • Data Modeling: Perform data modeling using DAX and Power Query (M), following established best practices for optimal performance and scalability.

  • ETL & Automation: Assist in developing and automating ETL pipelines using modern tools such as Microsoft Fabric or SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with senior team members to gather reporting requirements and translate complex business needs into clear analytical solutions.

  • Data Quality & Documentation: Support the documentation and validation of data sources, KPIs, and business logic to maintain high reporting consistency and data integrity.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, dashboard usability, and overall data quality.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Experience: 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a closely related role.

  • Technical Proficiency: Foundational proficiency with Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL (e.g., SQL Server, BigQuery).

  • ETL & Data Integration: Direct exposure to or basic experience using ETL tools like SSIS, Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent platforms.

  • Analytical Thinking: Strong capability to interpret complex datasets and partner with business teams to generate meaningful insights.

  • Communication & Growth Mindset: Eager to learn new technologies, strong verbal and written communication skills, and comfortable in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
