Lead engineering strategy and execution for Ongoing Monitoring across backend, frontend, data science, ML and analytics engineering. Own decisioning platforms, model lifecycle (development to production), agentic AI in regulated workflows, and deliver measurable outcomes (reduced fraud losses, higher automation, lower monitoring cost per member). Report to the Chief Data and Technology Officer and work with risk, operations, product and regulators.

The Technical Director will set technical vision, make final design and delivery decisions, engage with senior client stakeholders (CIOs/CTOs), lead discovery and solution design, oversee technical execution and project health, and develop technical teams. The role requires 15+ years of technical leadership (consulting, SaaS, or large-scale digital transformation preferred) and hands-on experience with software architecture, cloud platforms, AI, databases, distributed systems, and modern engineering practices. This is a permanent, full-time remote position for candidates based in the UK.
