
Legal Fellow (Spring 2027)
The Wikimedia Foundation Legal Fellowship (Spring) is an 18-week, remote fixed-term placement for current law students or recent law graduates. Fellows work on supervised projects including legal research, drafting licensing agreements, policy development, and compliance topics across internet law, copyright, freedom of expression, intellectual property, privacy and data security. Candidates with coursework or experience in these areas, experience with wikis or large online communities, strong research and writing skills, and interest in free culture/open source issues are preferred. The listing includes an anticipated hourly pay range for US applicants; hiring is presently limited to specific US states and a set of named countries.
