Cloudera seeks a mid-senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed with customers, prototype and ship production-ready AI and agentic applications, and standardize solution patterns. The role requires 7+ years building and deploying production-grade systems (including 2–3 years with generative AI/agentic apps), expertise in foundation models, RAG, LLMOps/MLOps, and experience with cloud and AI infrastructure; occasional travel up to ~20% is expected.

You will author merged PRs and build integrations (libraries, agent frameworks, MCP servers, automation platform connectors) so developers and AI agents can access SearchApi. Required: proven merged open-source contributions in repos you don't own, fluency with Ruby/Python/TypeScript and at least one agent/automation framework, and strong written English for docs and PRs.
