The role requires an active CPA, experience with SaaS and usage-based contracts (ASC 606), leadership of an accounting team, and close partnership with FP&A, Legal, Revenue Ops and other cross-functional teams. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and includes preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, payroll processing and related accounting (Rippling), administering equity (Carta), first-pass revenue recognition in NetSuite under ASC 606, supporting AP/AR/billing, audit support, and driving process improvements and automation (including AI-enabled workflows). Candidates must have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience and solid US GAAP knowledge. Spreedly cannot sponsor work visas and is not set up to support remote employees in New York.
