Interns will develop features for Mercari, Merpay, and Mercoin across backend, frontend, mobile, ML, SRE, platform and data domains. Target applicants are students able to join Mercari as new graduates in Oct 2027 or Apr 2028 (or eligible second new graduates). Required technical background includes RDBMS/SQL and practical development experience in at least one area (e.g., Go/PHP/Java APIs, JavaScript/React, Swift/Kotlin, ML, Kubernetes/SRE, Python/data). English and Japanese at CEFR B2 are stated as required/expected in some teams.

Mercari pre-entry registration for new graduates expected to graduate in or after April 2027 (joining months: April or October). Mercari Group offers a 2–3 month Product Manager internship (20+ hours/week) based in Japan (remote or Roppongi office). Responsibilities include product planning, writing specifications, collaborating with engineers/designers/customer service, conducting surveys and UX research, and driving new feature development. Requires Japanese proficiency (CEFR C1) and English (CEFR B1). Open to candidates who can join Mercari as new graduates in Oct 2027 or Apr 2028. Visa support and travel/accommodation arrangements are provided for overseas residents where applicable.

Work as a Data Analyst intern on Mercari Group analytics projects, collaborating across teams to analyze product and marketing data, extract/aggregate data (SQL), provide insights, and propose improvements. Internship is domestic-only, requires Japanese proficiency (C1), English (A2), and candidates must be able to join Mercari as a new graduate in Oct 2027 or Apr 2028. Minimum commitment: 20 hours/week on weekdays for at least 2 months.
