FMX is hiring a Director of Product Design to set design vision and quality across product suites, lead and grow a team (currently three Product Designers plus one shared User Researcher), steward the design system, and stay hands-on as the embedded designer on one product-suite trio. Responsibilities include shaping and validating solutions with customers using AI-accelerated and coded prototypes, running rapid usability tests, partnering with Product and Engineering, and owning hiring and career development. Requirements include 8+ years in product/UX design with leadership experience, strong portfolio, experience with design systems, fluency in user research and usability testing, and expertise in Figma. Candidates may be located anywhere in the United States; onboarding requires being onsite in Columbus, OH for the first week.
