Remote US-based Senior QA Engineer role focused on field-first testing of drones and related hardware/software. Responsibilities include daily flight testing, test planning and execution, managing regression suites (Dock, Android, iOS), building automation, owning bug reporting quality, and tracking post-release quality metrics. Role expects FAA Part 107 (can be obtained upon hiring), 4+ years in QA for hardware or mobile products, strong scripting/coding (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript), experience with Qase and Jira, mobile test frameworks (Appium/Espresso/Detox), CI/CD, and familiarity with RTK/PPK, embedded firmware, and using AI tooling in QA. Preference for candidates in Mountain, Central, or Eastern US time zones and travel ~1–2 times per quarter for field tests.
