Senior Audio Consultant Engineer (fully remote) responsible for implementing and debugging PipeWire + WirePlumber audio stacks including ALSA and system-level interactions. The role requires strong C and systems programming skills, deep understanding of core audio concepts (latency, formats, synchronization, buffering, resampling), experience debugging across Linux layers, customer-facing consulting, and contributing to upstream open-source projects. Nice-to-haves include ALSA kernel driver work, Rust, Bluetooth audio, DSP knowledge, and embedded/real-time Linux experience.

Work remotely to contribute mainline Linux kernel development for consumer products, solve complex kernel issues, engage with upstream maintainers, and advise client engineering teams. Requires solid Linux kernel development experience, product-support debugging capabilities, strong English communication, and a self-directed work style. Optional travel for conferences.
