Kernel Developer - KernelCare ELS team (remote work, LATAM)
Join the KernelCare Extended Lifecycle Support (ELS) team to investigate upstream Linux kernel fixes, backport patches to RPM- and Debian-based enterprise kernels, resolve conflicts, build reproducible kernel source and binary packages, and validate patched kernels via tests and regression analysis. The role emphasizes practical patching and build work, automation with Python/Go/Shell, and responsible use of agentic/AI-assisted tools. Requires strong C and Linux debugging skills, experience with kernel development/packaging, Git and GNU build tools. Position is remote; the posting lists LATAM locations and the company states fully remote work from any location worldwide.
