CloudLinux seeks a Senior Automation Engineer (typically 5+ years) to join the Infrastructure team and own end-to-end automation outcomes. Responsibilities include building maintainable software and cloud/infrastructure API integrations, delivering changes via version-controlled code and CI, ensuring resilient unattended workflows, transforming billing and inventory data, extending inventory/network-policy/capacity automation, running monitoring and actionable alerts, and documenting/handing over systems. Role requires strong Python, AWS, Linux, networking, SQL, IaC (Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible) and CI experience. Position is fully remote with flexible hours.

Hands-on production ownership role focused on PostgreSQL HA design and operations (Patroni, PgBouncer, replication, failover, backups/PITR, vacuum/bloat control, query tuning). Support other databases (ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis), automate provisioning and operational workflows with Ansible/Terraform/OpenTofu/GitLab CI, and improve monitoring, SLOs, runbooks, and incident response. Remote-first position requiring ~5+ years of PostgreSQL production experience and upper-intermediate English.

Lead the evolution of a data platform toward an internal DBaaS: design HA deployments (PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis) with Terraform and Ansible, scale ClickHouse analytics clusters, maintain Airflow and Redash infrastructure, implement SRE practices (automation, SLO/SLI), and modernize the stack across Bare Metal, OpenNebula, Kubernetes and public clouds.
