Cloudera is hiring a Lead Data Mesh Engineer to own architecture and hands-on delivery of a Data Mesh: architecting AWS MSK and Apache NiFi on EKS, enforcing schema contracts (Avro/AsyncAPI) via schema registries, implementing FinOps and resiliency patterns (DLQs, telemetry), and delivering infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and GitOps. Requires 6+ years with Kafka/NiFi in Kubernetes and experience with schema governance and observability.

Lead customer engagements to design and present scalable cloud-native data engineering and streaming solutions. Support PoCs, solution sizing, platform adoption, troubleshoot complex data pipelines, and influence product roadmap. Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Kafka, Flink, Airflow, NiFi, Kubernetes, CDC, and hybrid/multi-cloud deployments. Strong English required.
