The Reason Behind the Role
We're hiring a Talent Acquisition Associate to help us build real sourcing capability in house. You'll own our recurring, high volume searches, (ie. SDR, Onboarding, and Support) from first outreach through offer, and build a bench of strong candidates so we're never starting from zero. You'll work alongside our Talent Acquisition Specialist and report directly to our VP, People & Culture, with real ownership of a function we're actively investing in.
As our Talent Acquisition Associate you will
- Act as Granum's ambassador to the talent market. Every candidate interaction reflects who we are. You'll represent our mission, culture, and commitment to the green industry in ways that attract people who want to be here
- Own full cycle recruiting for our SDR, Onboarding, and Support roles: source, screen, and close candidates end to end
- Build and maintain a bench of warm candidates for these roles, so we can move quickly whenever a req opens
- Source proactively through LinkedIn Recruiter, your own network, and Granum's top performers' networks, rather than waiting on inbound applications.
- Keep candidate pipeline data current in Greenhouse so no one falls through the cracks
- Balance business needs with candidate experience
- Take on other duties as needed to support your team and our candidates
What we're looking for
If you have the following experience then this is a great role for you:
- Experience recruiting or sourcing candidates in a fast moving environment
- Comfortable owning a high volume, recurring workload without losing attention to detail on any single search
- Confident running outbound outreach and cold conversations, and making candidates feel genuinely wanted
- Organized enough to keep a bench of candidates warm over months, not just fill whatever is open today
- Familiarity with an ATS, Greenhouse is a plus, and a sourcing tool like LinkedIn Recruiter
- Interest in AI and leveraging the latest technologies for optimal recruitment
A few ways to stand out, but not required
- Experience recruiting specifically for SDR, Support, or other high volume roles, such as in call center environments
- Background in a SaaS or tech environment
- Experience building or maintaining a talent bench ahead of need, not just filling open requisitions
- Familiarity with the green industry
Compensation:
- Canada-based candidates: CAD 55,000 - 65,000
- US-based candidates: USD 55,000 - 65,000
