We are hiring for the position of Senior Product Manager, Record to Report! As a member of the Business Technology Product Management team, the Senior Product Manager (PM) will specialize in continuous process and systems improvement passionate about Record to Report, supporting our Controllership, Tax, Treasury and Revenue Recognition organization as we embark on Finance Transformation program.

The Sr. PM is accountable for the short and long term vision of the product, product roadmaps, business outcome articulation, harmonizing internal business partners interests with IT delivery, and representing the product to the partner and solution contributor community. This person will work closely with our internal business partners and internal & external delivery partners to develop a roadmap of solutions needed to support key business processes. They will then prioritize the request backlog and translate requirements into user stories for an elite team of software engineers and business systems analysts!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and lead the delivery of a product roadmap incorporating projects, features and other key initiatives

  • Can identify business themes and trends and can influence priorities and approach at roadmap level

  • Work with the scrum team in planning and execution of their work

  • Responsible for delivery to plan, and basic problem resolution. Work with business and IT partners to prioritize work to be delivered by the delivery teams at a sprint level. Work directly with software engineers, BSAs, and system specialists on product delivery

  • Communicate delivery scope, status and questions back to business. Communicate effectively and appropriately with the business and technical peers (written and verbal)

  • Serve as the team's primary, but not only, conduit to their business partner(s). Work with multiple business, IT and Product partners. Work very comfortably with partners at the department or division level

  • Look ahead to identify delivery capacity needs based on the roadmap and work with management to address them

  • Anticipate blockers and obstacles, and advance appropriately to solve them

  • Guide business partners through the work intake process, highlighting milestones and artifacts, and understands the value behind them

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives as a delivery component, representing their team's work with a small number of dependencies

  • Deliver innovative solutions maximizing Salesforce on Salesforce applications based on business value

  • Create and groom a backlog of well-formed stories for implementation by the area’s delivery teams

  • Review technical solutions for compliance to business processes and IT standards

  • Lead to the definition of done from feature acceptance criteria and meets business value requirements

  • Seek opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies

  • Act as the authority for solutions owned by the team


Experience/Skills Required:

  • 7-10+ years experience with the implementation of Core Financials

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (or related field) with 8-12 yrs information systems experience

  • Expertise of cloud ERP Products such as Oracle / SAP / Workday, in end to end Invoice to Cash and Record to Report areas.

  • Experience with enterprise system implementations and solution architecture for global companies

  • Experience with Finance system implementation for large companies

  • Experience with process improvement or transformation

  • Ability to make decisions and recommendations on technology strategies

  • Ability to learn quickly in a multifaceted environment

  • Excellent spoken and written communication and receptive listening skills, with ability to present sophisticated ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

  • Excellent teammate able to collaborate with virtual and global cross functional teams

  • Excellent influencing skills

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and tasks with proven knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required

  • Ability to work within time bound constraints and in a fast paced environment


Experience/Skills Desired:
Experience with Agile/SCRUM techniques
Knowledge of Record to Report end to end Processes, Data Visualization, Data quality and Integration systems technologies
Excellent, creative problem-solving skills
Solid understanding in information technology architecture components, procedures and practices

The typical base salary range for this position is $172,500 - $260,100 annually. 

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
