Job Summary

Snyk is looking for a strategic, detail oriented Accounting Manager to lead our North America accounting operations while driving global consolidation and reporting across our international entities. You will manage and develop a Senior Accountant, own the end to end consolidation process, and partner cross functionally to keep financial reporting accurate, timely, and scalable as Snyk grows into new markets. This is a high visibility seat: your work shapes how Snyk understands and reports on its financial performance worldwide, and how our accounting processes scale as the company expands internationally.

About the Team

You will join Snyk's Accounting Operations team, reporting to the Senior Director of Accounting Operations, alongside the accounting and finance professionals responsible for global close, consolidation, and compliance across Snyk's US, Canadian, and international entities. As Snyk scales into new markets, this team owns the accounting infrastructure that keeps pace with a fast growing, multinational business.

What You’ll Do

● Own the global consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translation, and multi entity reporting in NetSuite across all international entities.

● Manage and mentor a Senior Accountant, providing guidance on daily accounting operations, technical accounting questions, and professional development.

● Oversee the monthly financial close for the United States and Canada, reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.

● Review and approve account reconciliations in FloQast, ensuring every account on the trial balance is properly supported and signed off.

● Lead monthly flux analysis across global entities, identifying and explaining material movements in account balances and headcount.

● Partner with Legal, People, and other business partners to standardize accounting policies and processes across international entities.

● Document and strengthen internal controls across cash, prepaid, fixed asset, and other general ledger cycles on a global basis.

● Collaborate with cross functional teams, including IT, Tax, and Revenue, to resolve issues, implement new systems, and ensure accurate financial records.

● Partner with FP&A to ensure global expenses are properly booked and allocated to the correct cost centers and entities.

● Drive process automation and improvement initiatives so global accounting processes stay scalable, efficient, and audit ready.

● Support SOX compliance and coordinate with external auditors on both US and international audit requirements.

● Collaborate with the Tax team on transfer pricing general ledger support and other global tax accounting matters.

What you’ll bring

● 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or a corporate finance department of a multinational company.

● Prior experience managing, mentoring, or reviewing the work of accounting staff.

● Hands on experience with global consolidations, multi currency accounting, and intercompany eliminations.

● Strong Excel skills, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

● Working knowledge of AI tools like Gemini or Claude, with the ability to apply them to key accounting tasks.

● Experience partnering with cross functional teams to implement new systems and build related process documentation.

● Experience preparing for and supporting SOX and external audits, including for international entities.

● Experience preparing and explaining flux analysis across multiple entities.

● Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changes in a dynamic, high growth environment.

● Strong problem solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.

● Experience working in a SaaS company preferred.

● Proficiency in NetSuite or other ERP systems preferred.

● Experience with FloQast, Google Suite, Excel, and AI platforms preferred.

● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials preferred.
