ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the automation and optimization of software deployment and operational processes.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux-based environments.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Support build, deployment, and infrastructure automation activities.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Groovy, Bash, Python, or similar technologies.
- Assist in implementing configuration management solutions using Red Hat Ansible.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to support application delivery.
- Monitor system performance and help resolve deployment and production issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Learn and apply DevOps best practices, tools, and automation techniques.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, Software Development, or related technical roles.
- Experience supporting Linux environments.
- Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD concepts.
- Experience with Red Hat Ansible or configuration management tools.
- Experience with Groovy scripting or similar scripting languages.
- Basic understanding of build automation, deployment processes, and source control systems.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues in development or production environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience supporting CMS, Federal Government, or healthcare systems.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation and support.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with Bash or Python scripting.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and ELK Stack.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
