Who We Are
Bitovi helps companies create better software and applications. We’re driven by the desire to provide value - to our clients, the technology community, and our incredible team.
Every day, we design and build a wide variety of high-profile applications. We discuss and design architectures, review code, and research new technologies. We talk to our clients directly, guiding them through the process, identifying potential problems and unknowns, and tackling challenges.
We help one another freely. We keep a Slack channel called ask-help, which is constantly used. We develop new skills, build better developer tools, and work on new types of projects regularly—and we take the time to present at conferences, give training, and run meetups. We’re huge open source devotees, and our developer community is second to none.
Our fully remote team consists of about 80 members located in the US, Canada, and other International locations. We welcome diversity and non-traditional paths into the developer profession—we want the right person, not the right collection of tech keywords.

Who You Are
In your career so far, you've established:
A track record of selling consulting or professional services, including running deals from first conversation to signed engagement.
Hands-on experience applying AI to software delivery, so you can separate what works today from what's still hype.
Deep familiarity with the software delivery life cycle (design, product, development, QA, and testing) and how AI changes each stage.
Experience turning a market trend into a defined, sellable offering, including packaging, pricing, and positioning.
A plan-driven approach to growth, having built pipelines backward from revenue goals through marketing, partnerships, or referrals.
Relationships or experience with technology partners, such as AI vendors, platforms, or alliances that generated real opportunities.
A credible public point of view on AI, shown through talks, writing, or community involvement, even if content creation isn't your main job.
The ability to work closely with engineering leaders to make sure what you sell can be delivered at quality.
Role Summary
We're looking for a thought leader who is obsessed with how organizations use AI to improve digital product delivery. You'll continue to build Bitovi's AI Enablement practice, attract customers to it through marketing and partnerships, and close the sales that come in.
Our current offering has three tiers: training teams to use AI, adding AI skills that streamline parts of their workflow, and measuring both against DORA metrics. It covers the full software delivery life cycle, including design, product, QA, and testing. Your immediate job is to sell that offering. Your longer-term job is to keep it ahead of where AI is going.
The responsibilities below are listed in priority order.
1. Identify Technically Achievable Solutions Customers Want
Track where AI tools, techniques, and adoption are heading, and spot the problems organizations will pay to solve next.
Translate those trends into concrete offerings, playbooks, and a clear point of view that sets Bitovi apart.
Form hypotheses about how Bitovi can solve those problems, and test them with internal team members and real client work before selling them.
Make sure every offering is technically achievable. If Bitovi doesn't have the skills yet, say so, so the team can hire or train for them.
Refine, expand, or retire offerings as the market moves, so we aren't selling techniques nobody uses anymore.
2. Build the Plan to Attract Customers
You own the strategy for bringing customers to the practice. You don't have to produce all the marketing yourself.
Design the practice's sales and marketing pipeline.
Define the marketing and partnership strategy, including which partnerships to pursue (for example, AI vendor partnerships) and how to use them to find work.
Guide marketing on campaigns, content, and events. Decide which stories, projects, and messages to highlight.
Choose which conferences and communities matter, and what Bitovi should present there.
Give sales clear messaging, positioning, and materials that accurately reflect what the practice can deliver.
3. Close Sales
Own the full sales cycle for practice opportunities, from first conversation to signed engagement. Run it yourself or coordinate help from sales and practice leads.
Lead client conversations that shape the solution, confirm fit, and show credible expertise in what AI can do today.
Set deal strategy with sales for larger or more complex engagements.
Work with the practice lead on proposals so they reflect offerings Bitovi can deliver.
Work with the Director of Engineering to confirm that new offerings can be delivered at quality, and to flag skill gaps early.
Work with the practice lead, who turns offerings into documented services and handles proposal iteration.
Partner with Delivery Managers to refine offerings based on delivery feedback and client outcomes.
Track practice growth and market traction, and balance near-term revenue with longer-term investments.
When needed, help ramp up consultants on a newly sold offering. This is secondary to the priorities above.
Share ideas and strategy for regular content production with our Engineering Marketing Lead that will strengthen Bitovi's position. Regular content production belongs to the engineering marketer.
Ongoing content production, such as videos, regular articles, and routine conference speaking. A separate engineering marketer will handle this.
- Upskilling Bitovi's engineers as a primary responsibility.
Our team travels to meet with our clients and internal teams in person. Travel can range from 1-2 times per year to 3-5 days every 3-4 months, and we will do our best to work around your schedule.
