Mission

Kindred is a members-only home swapping network that is reinventing the way people live and travel. By exchanging homes with people they trust, Kindred members can live a travel-rich lifestyle while paying just a fraction of the cost of a hotel or vacation rental. We’re a small team with a big mission, and we’re looking for the world’s top builders, executors, and believers to join us. Life at Kindred

At Kindred, we’re rewriting the rules for what “work” can look like and designing the culture we always wished we had. In addition to core benefits such as medical and dental insurance, equity compensation, and flexible time off, Kindred offers a thoughtful, human-first benefits package designed to support health, wellbeing, and connection.

Life is richer when filled with travel and new experiences. We encourage our team to experience Kindred firsthand a guests and hosts. Employees receive 21 credits per year to stay in Kindred homes, along with a $4,000 annual travel stipend to help offset travel-related costs such as flights or transportation.

Family planning should be part of healthcare. Kindred offers up to $10,000 in fertility benefits for treatments such as egg freezing, IVF, or other family-building services for you or your partner. This benefit may also be used for travel and lodging when care requires going out of state.

Work should be flexible by default. Kindred is a remote-first, remote-flexible company that supports flexibility in where and how work gets done, so employees can work from environments that help them stay focused, balanced, and connected — whether that’s at home, while traveling, or alongside teammates in shared workspaces.

Nothing beats in-person connection. While we value the flexibility of remote work, we also know there’s nothing like building trust and camaraderie face to face. Kindred hosts regular team and company offsites to bring people together for connection, alignment, and shared experiences.
