Responsibilities include architecting and operating containerized browser infrastructure, managing AWS services (ECS, EKS, Fargate, RDS, ElastiCache), writing Terraform, tuning autoscaling and networking (websockets, TCP), debugging production issues, and mentoring engineers. SearchApi seeks a remote Anti-Bot Engineer to research and implement anti-bot evasion, reverse engineer detection systems (Cloudflare, Akamai, DataDome, PerimeterX, etc.), optimize Playwright/Puppeteer/CDP configurations, debug TLS/protocol fingerprinting (JA3/JA4, HTTP/2, HTTP/3/QUIC), analyze network traffic, and run headless browsers reliably at scale. Fluent English and deep hands-on experience with browser internals, fingerprinting, network analysis tools, and relevant tooling (Playwright, Puppeteer, Selenium, Wireshark, Burp Suite, mitmproxy) are required.

Role involves in-depth performance characterization and analysis on large multi-GPU/multi-node clusters, studying HW/SW interactions, implementing micro-benchmarks, triaging customer performance issues, and building tools to visualize performance data. Requires M.S. or equivalent (or PhD), 3+ years of parallel programming and communication runtime experience (e.g., MPI, NCCL, UCX, NVSHMEM), proficiency in C/C++ and a scripting language (preferably Python), and familiarity with containers, cloud provisioning and schedulers (Kubernetes, SLURM, Ansible, Docker).
