Social Media Specialist

ActiveCampaign
United States
As a Social Media Specialist at ActiveCampaign, you’ll help shape how our brand shows up across digital channels, building deeper connections with customers and expanding our global reach. You’ll support the social media presence for ActiveCampaign’s portfolio of brands — including ActiveCampaign, Postmark, and ACHQ — through thoughtful content execution, community engagement, and creative storytelling.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with creative, content, product marketing, and product teams to bring platform-specific strategies to life, while combining creativity with data-driven insights to grow and energize our audiences. If you’re passionate about social storytelling, community-building, and brand expression — this is the role for you.

What your day could consist of:

    • Content Execution: Support the publishing of social media content across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Threads, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring posts are timely, accurate, and on-brand.
    • Creative Collaboration: Work with the creative, product marketing, and content teams to develop platform-specific visuals, short-form videos, and copy that resonate with each unique audience.
    • Community Engagement: Monitor and engage in conversations across platforms, amplifying customer stories, elevating brand sentiment, and identifying opportunities to connect authentically with our audiences.
    • Campaign Support: Partner with marketing and product teams to support launches, announcements, and broader campaigns with social-first executions.
    • Global Adaptation: Help adapt and tailor content for international audiences while maintaining consistency in brand voice and quality.
    • Idea Generation: Contribute creative ideas to grow our brand following, boost engagement, and deepen customer loyalty across social channels.
    • Performance Tracking: Assist in tracking, measuring, and analyzing social media performance metrics, helping to inform strategy and optimize future content.
    • Learning & Growth: Stay curious, actively learning best practices for social-first storytelling, trend spotting, and cross-channel campaign execution.

What is needed:

    • 2+ years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or a related digital marketing role.
    • A strong understanding of how content performs across different social platforms and how to optimize for audience engagement.
    • Previous experience in B2B, SaaS, or martech industries (a plus, but not required).
    • Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for voice, tone, and storytelling.
    • Familiarity with tools like Sprout Social, Canva, Figma, or video editing platforms (experience with scheduling and reporting tools a bonus).
    • A collaborative spirit with a proactive, creative, and data-informed approach to social media strategy.
    • Comfort engaging on social platforms during off-hours for urgent moments, product launches, or brand milestones when needed.
    • A passion for social media, digital storytelling, and building community through authentic brand expression.
