Customer Support Specialist (Remote- US Based)

Job Summary 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a pleasant and patient personality, a team player who possesses great verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills to work as a Customer Support Specialist focusing on assisting Kesef Accounting clients with ShulCloud inquiries as well as other light bookkeeping tasks. The goal of this position is to provide excellent customer service and technical support to our synagogue and Jewish nonprofit clients through an array of communication avenues. Responsibilities include resolving customer queries, recommending solutions, and guiding users through features and functionalities, and fulfilling light bookkeeping requests. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who is able to earn our clients’ trust.

Responsibilities 

• Responding to customer queries in a timely and accurate way
• Identifying customer needs and helping customers use specific features
• Analyzing and reporting product malfunctions

Requirements 

• Problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Patience when handling tough cases
• Basic understanding of non-profit financials
• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software

Nice To Have 

• Experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role
• Experience with ShulCloud
• Familiarity with the Jewish nonprofit/synagogue community
• Experience using help desk software and remote support tools
• Understanding of how CRM systems work

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.
