Key Responsibilities
- Business Requirements & Analysis:
Gather, document, and validate requirements across Sales, Trade Promotion/Marketing, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Finance, and Operations. Translate business needs into BRDs or user stories. - Process Improvement & Solution Design:
Analyze current processes and identify improvement or automation opportunities. Apply CPG best practices to optimize sales, trade promotions, supply chain performance, forecasting accuracy, and financial processes. - Data Analysis & Insights:
Perform deep data analysis on large datasets (including POS and market data like Nielsen/IRI). Generate business insights and recommendations that support data-driven decision-making. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Act as a bridge between business and technical teams. Facilitate workshops (JAD sessions, sprint planning, UAT) and ensure solution alignment. - Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
Lead analysis workstreams, manage risks and timelines, and engage senior stakeholders. Present insights and recommendations to business and IT leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years in business analysis, including 3+ years in the CPG industry
- Strong expertise in CPG processes (sales, trade promotions, supply chain, demand planning, finance)
- Advanced Power BI skills (data modeling, DAX, dashboards, Power Query)
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems and CPG data sources
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data visualization best practices
