About the Opportunity
We are placing a Contract Program Manager to support the Strategic Operations & Program Management (SO&PM) team — the operational backbone of Content Studio, sitting within a Communications & Public Affairs organization. This team drives clarity, speed, and efficiency across Content Studio through strategic planning, program management for large-scale initiatives, and cross-functional coordination.
In this role, you will drive end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale social, creative, and communications programs — partnering cross-functionally with creative strategists, social teams, communications leads, and external agency partners. You will be critical in maintaining flawless execution across high-priority initiatives spanning flagship events, product launches, policy campaigns, and organizational programs.
Contract Type: W2 Contract
Project Duration: 12 months (June 15, 2026 – June 11, 2027), with possibility of extension
Project Capacity: 40 hours/week, 5 days — no overtime
Start Date: June 15, 2026
SweetRush is a remote organization, and as such, all resources must be technically savvy, have access to a strong internet signal, be comfortable with virtual/instant messaging and conferencing tools, and generally be available during established working hours.
Your Impact and Responsibilities
Essential functions include:
- Drive end-to-end project management for large-scale, cross-functional programs and campaigns (e.g., flagship events, product launches, policy/social campaigns), including developing project plans, timelines, RACI frameworks, and workback schedules
- Coordinate across creative, social, comms, and Public Affairs teams to align workstreams, manage dependencies, lead status meetings, and track deliverables — flagging risks early and driving resolution of blockers
- Support strategic planning processes including roadmapping, resource allocation, goal-setting, and the development and socialization of organizational processes
- Build and refine operational processes, templates, and frameworks that scale across Content Studio, including support for tool migrations, workflow documentation, and knowledge management
- Partner with external agency teams and vendors on deliverable alignment and timelines, and support the expansion of centralized program management capabilities across the Comms & PA organization
- Schedule and facilitate cross-functional meetings, track action items, manage stakeholder communications, and bridge the gap between creative and business needs
What You Bring — Required Skills
- 7+ years of project or program management experience in marketing, communications, creative, or media environments
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs with complex timelines and cross-functional dependencies — with variety across program types (not solely one area)
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and navigate conflict resolution across diverse teams
- Strong track record of coordinating and tracking milestones across programs of significant scale and complexity
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and maintain meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to distill complexity into clear updates for leadership and cross-functional partners
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, or similar)
- Proven ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing workload and prioritizing tasks effectively with minimal supervision
- Understanding of organic marketing, communications, social, and editorial team dynamics
Bonus Skills
- Highly organized with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Openness to and curiosity about AI tools and workflows
- Flexibility and adaptability in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
