Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager (m/f/d) to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects across the organization. In this role, you will assist senior project managers with day-to-day project activities while also contributing to PMO operations including reporting, governance, and documentation.   • Assist in planning and coordinating projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Monitor and track project progress, milestones, and deliverables against schedules and RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, team members, and external vendors as needed.
  • Support budget tracking and resource planning in collaboration with senior project managers.
  • Maintain project documentation, governance frameworks, templates, and records in line with PMO standards.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and summary reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Support portfolio reporting by collecting, consolidating, and analyzing project data.
  • Contribute to process improvements and standardization of tools and methodologies across projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. 12 years of relevant experience in a project coordination, PMO, or junior project management role.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
  • Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, Asana, or Smartsheet.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of project financials and resource planning.
  • Experience working in a PMO or on enterprise-level projects.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Project Management certification or coursework (e.g., CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, or equivalent).

Gross monthly salary depending on qualifications, experience and salary model starting with € 3.500
