Your Mission:

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for consistent attainment of revenue and booking targets for Biovia and Medidata solutions. Working closely with and manage relationships with clients and partners at a management-level. This includes identifying sales opportunities, qualifying opportunities, and efficiently leveraging resources in order to bring opportunities to successful conclusion.

  • Consistent attainment of revenue and booking targets for Biovia and Medidata solutions, per targets based on position referenced above

  • Motivate current Biovia partners to ensure that Biovia brand is their vendor of showing value, enhancing customer experience and being the trusted advisor for them.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans as it relates to specific opportunities

  • Directly responsible for closing sales transactions with clients and partners

  • Represent Biovia/Medidata in the field in a manner consistent with company business principles and ethics

  • Coordination of resources within sales and other departments in order to achieve objectives

  • Maintain and update sales plans, account and opportunity data within company stems as directed, including

  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and personal involvement in customer relationships in order to remain consistent with Biovia/Medidata business principals

Your Competencies:

  • Strong application software sales experience

  • knowledge of the biopharmaceutical R&D process, laboratory workflows and production processes

  • Experience in laboratory informatics systems such as LIMS, ELN, LES, CDS, etc preferred

  • Experience in quality systems and regulatory compliance in life science industry will be an advantage

  • Demonstrated consistent track record in achieving sales targets

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong business planning and organizational skills

  • Business level English required (speaking and writing)

  • Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner.

Your Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree is required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences, chemistry or computer sciences will be an advantage

  • At least 5 - 8 years’ experience in application software sales or project management, could be but not limited to LIMS/LES/ELN/DMS/QMS
