Services Deal Desk Manager Remote - US West Coast

  • Partner with legal, finance, Communities of Practice and Professional Services leaders to standardize contract templates
  • Review SOWs with Services sellers, adhering to internal policy, pricing structure and delivery models
  • For non-standard deals, coordinate approvals across internal stakeholders including Services selling and delivery, legal, and finance
  • Review scope of the deliverables in the SOW for reasonableness and deliverability 
  • Maintain partner (subcontractor) processes, working with professional services delivery team and professional services operations business analyst 
  • Manage services deal closing process
  • Engage professional services team to kickstart delivery process
  • Assist with invoicing customers and understanding deal structure
  • Provide documentation and educate sales on services contracts
  • Become a subject matter expert on all aspects of the deal operations process, including GitHub, Salesforce.com and Services time-tracking tools
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to front-line sellers and Professional Services Leaders, providing 1-1 consultation to sellers to help structure SOW details
  • Develop clear, comprehensive process guidance for our Services Sellers
  • Define and monitor core operational contract metrics; Collect both qualitative feedback and quantitative metrics to identify process improvements; Consistently report out to stakeholders on those metrics, to drive consistency across teams and understanding of what’s working and what’s not

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in deal desk, deal structuring, sales operations roles or finance
  • Strong business acumen, prior sales and/or finance experience a plus
  • Must be a self-starter with strong organization skills
  • Detail oriented team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills to enable informed decision making
  • Strong understanding of software revenue recognition issues
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Salesforce.com and Excel or Google Sheets
  • Experience with Professional Services
  • Comfort in a changing environment

  • Effective at time management and prioritization
