Twilio is seeking a Senior Talent Management Program Manager to implement core talent processes and systems for our 6,000+ Twilions globally. As a member of the Talent Management’s Talent Planning & Assessment team, project areas that you could be responsible for leading or supporting the program management of our main talent processes and programs (e.g., career development and planning, Employee Experience Survey, performance management, talent reviews and succession planning). This includes designing and implementing new processes, partnering with HRBPs, HR COEs, and/or senior business leaders to design and implement enterprise-wide solutions at scale.

You live the Twilio Magic and have a demonstrated track record of designing and managing enterprise-wide processes and programs, ideally in the talent management or talent development space.

  • 8+ years of experience in HR / Talent Management and/or management consulting. 
  • Proven track record leading large scale, global processes and projects end-to-end with multiple stakeholders that require robust change management and communication.
  • Strong business acumen and credibility to accurately anticipate the impact of business events on talent needs.
  • Proven track record of delivering operational excellence and executing high quality deliverables.
  • Proven capability to use data to influence top management decisions and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to define, measure, and communicate program success to key stakeholders 
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate in business terms.
  • Highly flexible, self-directed, and adapts well to change and accelerated timelines; excellent collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Experience connecting talent systems, processes, data across the employee lifecycle to enhance talent and business outcomes 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; Master’s Degree in Business, Organizational Effectiveness or a related field is highly preferred. 


As a Senior Talent Management Program Manager, you will live the Twilio Magic values and lead or support one or more of these projects in your first year:

  • EMPOWER OTHERS: Help us take our performance system to the next level. Co-lead the change effort with HRBPs, business leaders, managers, and all Twilions; Design and activate a feedback culture at Twilio that ensures that all Twilions know where they stand, how they can improve, and how to get to their next opportunity. 
  • BE BOLD: Help us to drive operational excellence on our team’s top priority this year - standardizing our career architecture and making it clearer, easier, and more powerful for all Twilions to build a career at Twilio. Lead the execution of our career development workstream in partnership with the Talent Development team. 
  • WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES: Re-imagine our survey strategy for 2022+ to help us give our business leaders and managers more real-time insights and data to proactively run their business.
  • BE AN OWNER: Lead program design and execution of our bi-annual Employee Experience Survey, including survey design with senior leadership, HRBP and manager comms and enablement, and action planning and reporting.

The Talent Planning & Assessment team is responsible for the mechanisms that help to make that happen at scale.

We play an integral role for the broader Talent Management and HR teams as well. We create the infrastructure that informs how we develop our leaders (i.e., Leadership Development team), how we develop all Twilions (i.e., Talent Development team), and where we have critical talent needs that we must fill externally (i.e., Talent Acquisition).

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 


Denver/Boulder Metro:

Tier 4 base salary range: $99,840.00 to $137,280.00

Rest of Colorado:

Tier 5 base salary range: 87,360.00 to $120,120.00

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
