Web Solution Designer

The web designer will work with Protech customers to help them leverage their investment in Protech technologies.   The ideal candidate will be able to assist association customers to achieve their member portal design and functionality goals using methodologies that are consistent with Protech’s technology roadmap.  Successful candidate will have a passion for adding their own creative design elements to fully interactive membership portals.  The role requires a solid understanding of design fundamentals and an ability to translate design direction into visually compelling online content.  This includes the ability to conceptualize and communicate creative ideas to association (customer) staff.

Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Engage with Protech clients to understand their project and design goals
  • Provide and communicate a clear vision on how best to achieve their project goals utilizing tools, applications and methodologies that will provide exceptional value to our clients
  • Recommend design services to clients in a manner that is consistent with project budget
  • Document and functional requirements and obtain customer approval to proceed
  • Configure customer’s web portal using Protech web parts according to customer requirements
  • Develop aesthetically pleasing designs, themes and templates based on customer’s web/CMS style guides
  • Implement styling on client’s web portals using HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap and Protech web parts
  • Utilize a uniform approach to building web/CMS design solutions that will ensure consistent support to clients
  • Continuously study emerging tools, technology and business practices for the association marketplace, and the application of these tools and practices
  • Other solution consultant related tasks as assigned by supervisor



  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of related visual design experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Productivity Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Solid technical skills, specifically regarding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Understanding of responsive design principles within a CMS framework such as Bootstrap
  • Comfortable taking initiative to be productive and efficient, enjoy being hands-on, owning their role and ensuring the work is executed with attention to detail
  • CMS experience with .net platforms such as DNN/Evoq, Ektron, Sitefinity or Kentico is desirable
  • Single Sign-on (SSO) and API integration experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or association staff experience is preferred
  • Effective communication skills and an inherent desire to turn clients into “Raving Fans”

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.

US Remote: $ 65,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD per year
