As a member of the Protech Professional Services Implementation Team, the Software Implementation Project Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of Protech’s AMS implementations, as well as project-based work for Customers who are already members of the install base. This role will manage multiple Projects concurrently.  The Project Manager is responsible for managing the Customer relationship throughout each engagement, acting as the Owner for the Project Scope, Budget, Risk/Issue Management, Communications, Change Control and as point of escalation for other Project Resources.  The Project Manager is responsible for managing the Delivery team on their Projects, coordinating resource allocation with Delivery management, along with supporting other Delivery objectives as needed. The Project Manager works in Partnership with Solution Consultants and Data Analyst to ensure requirements, functional Solution Documentation, and Stories meet Protech standards.


  • Manage Protech project activities for multiple simultaneous projects across all Project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure
  • Create, manage and track Project Artifacts, including but not limited to:
    • Project Charters
    • Detailed Project Plans
    • Cost Estimates
    • Resource Plans
    • Risk/Issue Log
    • Project Status Reports
    • Executive Project updates
    • Project Change Orders
  • Attain targeted average of 60% productive utilization per quarter, or as agreed with Supervisor
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of projects and staff; communicate with project teams as necessary to ensure project deliverables are on schedule and within cost parameters
  • Make decisions and communicate trade-offs and risks; drive key decisions across projects
  • Make recommendations to management about schedules, prioritization and resource allocation with input from team members
  • Provide ongoing project plan/status reporting for use by customers and management
  • Provide input into strategic planning and asset creation processes
  • Manage resource planning and organizational capacity planning
  • Work with project team members on processes and best practices
  • Identify areas of improvement in delivery and implementation processes and document changes where needed; communicate changes to teams and work closely with the Delivery team


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
  • Experience working with associations, non-profits and/or fundraising organizations (including 501c3, 501c4, and/or 501c6’s) a plus
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a technology environment, including practical professional experience in project management
  • Functional experience using, implementing, migrating and upgrading systems of similar size and scope
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred
  • Experience in program and project management, business management, strategic IT planning, requirements analysis, business process improvement, and documentation delivery systems
  • Demonstrated experience in motivating and leading cross-functional high-performance teams
  • Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively manage staff
  • Ability to multi-task and demonstrate a sense of urgency with excellent communication, presentation, and written skills
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, business stakeholders, end users, management and others outside the organization
  • Ability to work independently, identify areas of improvement, and take initiative to make improvements
  • Experience managing multiple projects and budgets concurrently, with short timelines
  • Change management and release management background a plus

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.

Salary Range

US Remote: $90,000 - $120,000 USD per year
