What You’ll Do:

As the Product Marketing Manager for Intelligence, you will own our Competitive and Market Intelligence, taking our current program from little to an incredibly powerful function at Formstack. This role will own our competitive assets to sellers and our product team while spinning up a routine intelligence reporting function to cross functional stakeholders across Formstack including the leadership team.

How You Will Succeed:

At large, this role will be responsible for owning Formstack’s competitive and market intelligence function. This means improving win rates against competitors with seller asset usage, confidence from our internal teams due to the reporting, and strategic influence at Formstack.

At the more tactical level, success for this role looks like:

  • Develop and own the competitive and market intelligence strategy for Formstack
  • Update all competitive assets for sellers with training support for our sales enablement and training team (Hey, battlecards!)
  • Provide a deep dive into competitive features and functionalities for our product team
  • Completion and scheduling of customer interviews to support product marketing managers and overall Intelligence analysis
  • Creation and ownership of monthly/quarterly intelligence report for sellers, product team, team leads, and Formstack’s leadership
  • Ownership over core Product Marketing dashboards for daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly analysis


What/Who We’re Looking For:

This role requires someone who is willing to dig in. This individual should be obsessed with taking things from zero to impact by asking hard questions, spending time with data, and deeply understanding problems.

This person should be skilled at taking information, summarizing it, and measuring impact while having conviction to deliver an informed point of view to stakeholders across the business, including leadership team members.

This person will be supported by the Product Marketing Manager lead, the Product Marketing team, and have access to other analyst teams. Our Product Marketing team values transparency - sharing early and often, feedback, collaboration, and a sense of humor in the midst of chaos.


  • Market Research and/or Competitive Intelligence experience 
  • Ability to self manage to a deadline
  • Thrives at relationship building in remote environments
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations
  • You’re a witty and skilled problem solver who thrives in starting and maintaining new initiatives
  • Strong analytical capacity and presentation skills while communicating learnings to a variety of stakeholders
  • You can create and execute sales training programs including content creation with ease
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, structure, and concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal teams and customers
  • Experience working to tight deadlines and marketing cycles
  • Successfully balances strategy and day to day implementation
  • Familiarity with no code workflow automation and workplace productivity market is a  bonus
  • Wants to be a part of a highly collaborative product marketing team, teach each other and learn from each other

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, or product a plus
  • Experience in Salesforce, Pendo, Looker, or a Competitive Intelligence tool (like Crayon or Klue) a plus
  • Product Marketing Alliance certification

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000

This is a Remote (work from anywhere) position.
