You are a strategic thinker, enthusiastic educator, and enjoy working with technology and the people who build and use it.  A successful candidate will be able to: update documentation based on stakeholder feedback, review content for style, and apply consistent changes across a body of work as new standards are put in place.

This entry-level role is the first step in a career path for aspiring Technical Writers or Trainers, providing you with foundational experience in multiple facets of corporate education. As a member of the Enterprise Learning team, the Documentation and Training Specialist will perform administrative tasks across various knowledge development tools, and update content across the learning ecosystem.  You will work closely with Technical Writers, Instructional Developers, and Technical Trainers to keep information accurate and in compliance with style standards.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete routine documentation and content updates based on feedback and other review channels.
  • Compare documentation to current style standards and templates, and update materials to meet expectations.
  • Complete administrative tasks such as tracking work, reviewing usage statistics, and assisting with tracking of various education services/functions.
  • Work closely with team members in new education initiatives and projects.
  • Work both independently as well as part of a team with management.
  • Conduct peer review to ensure style guidelines are being met.
  • Occasionally facilitate chat function and connect learners to information during training sessions as needed.

 REQUIREMENTS

  • A high school diploma is required, while currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in communications, technical writing, or a related area preferred.
  • Good organization and time management skills; self-starter and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail, with excellent proofreading/editing, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • This role is remote, so you’ll need to be comfortable collaborating virtually and working within approved EST-friendly hours

Salary Range Disclosure

The base range represents the low and high end of the Togetherwork salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Togetherwork’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include discretionary bonuses, long term incentives, a flexible paid vacation/personal time policy, 6 weeks paid parental leave and more.

Salary Range

US Remote: $40,000  USD per year
