Your Mission: 

Lead the team that is responsible for the delivery of implementation or enablement services for a specific product or suite of products for a  solution area.

Your Competencies: 

  • Management of a team who are responsible for multiple larger more complex projects with a focus on delivery of the project on time, within budget and with a high quality outcome

  • Responsible for team members maintaining high internal client and stakeholder satisfaction by providing proactive communication and issue management with all internal stakeholders

  • Provide input and direction into Professional Services proposals and supports prospecting activities and works across market segments

  • Maintain high internal client and stakeholder satisfaction by providing proactive communication and issue management

  • Support the activities that will result in the continued use of the specific product or suite of products

  • Develop internal client and stakeholder relationships as “trusted advisor for a specific product or suite of products”  through effective, proactive relationship management

  • Lead team that provides guidance and consulting to internal clients and stakeholders around the best use of the specific product or suite of products

  • Product knowledge and ability to demonstrate through the delivery of workshops and other consultancy activities 

  • Work with Product management on product improvements and help provide the Voice Of the Customer (VOC)

  • Knowledgeable on product and solution areas and can guide implementation and support and help deliver the strategy of the product/solution area

  • Collaborate with Product Adoption leads to ensure that the PS service offerings are optimized and budgeted correctly. Ensure the team delivers project on time and on budget and raise concerns in a timely manner

  • Work on and drive the activities that will result in the expanded use of the specific product or suite of products

  • Assures compliance with Medidata’s standard methodologies and Medidata SOPs and mentors other project resources

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills

  • Excellent computer skills, public speaking, presentation and teaching skills

  • Proficient with MS Office suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Self motivated, able to work remotely and able to assume responsibility in a professional manner

  • Prior management experience

  • Is proficient in the use of all relevant Medidata internal systems

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Travel expectations up to 40% – 50%, national / international

Your Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (analytic discipline a plus)

  • 10+ years relevant experience in clinical/biomedical and/or software development environment (Clinical Operations experience a plus)

  • 2-5 Years line management experience

  • Prior professional services project financial experience required

  • Prior services delivery experience required

  • Electronic Clinical Data Management (eCDM) software experience desirable

  • Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS)  software experience desirable
