We are looking for a Director of Demand Generation who has proven success implementing digital inbound strategies that will build scalable and predictable growth for our business. You will be responsible for the inbound experience that attracts and engages our target audience and leads them to a path of value and conversion.

In this role you will oversee all aspects of global inbound demand generation, working with the people, tools, and processes required to build, optimize, and scale digital growth. You will lead an enthusiastic team that includes Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing, and Web Development professionals and will report directly to the Vice President of Demand Generation.

What You Will Do:

    • Work cross functionally with marketing, product, sales, and sales operations teams to define, activate, and optimize our relevant buying journeys.
    • Manage the full online lead journey from impression through to pipeline and understand the impact of digital dollars spent to drive revenue.
    • Collaborate with other Demand Generation team members (Campaigns, Events, and Field Marketing) to achieve greater impact in marketing goal attainment in key regions and territories.
    • Lead globally embracing inclusion, partnering with international Sales and Marketing team members to develop the right digital strategies for our business.
    • Develop creative ad campaigns from concept to delivery through all digital advertising channels including search, display, re-targeting, social, podcasts, mobile, video.
    • Optimize automation and scoring processes that moves quality accounts and leads through the funnel faster.
    • Manage, develop, and inspire the team, leading with Sonatype values.
    • Track and report on full funnel performance including campaign attribution, conversion, pipeline goal attainment, and efficiency.
    • Maintain and optimize Sonatype web properties with the most up to date and optimized content, videos, branding, and page layouts to increase traffic, chat and engagement onsite.

Who You Are:

    • 8+ years of experience in demand generation/campaigns/digital marketing role capacity (SaaS/technology/software companies preferred).
    • Experience partnering with SDR, Field Sales, and Sales/Revenue Ops teams to optimize lead conversion.
    • Experience in measurement of marketing performance, attribution and media mix modeling across marketing automation platforms, CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), and other tools/platforms.
    • Experience working with an account-based marketing platform to ensure accurate audience targeting, account engagement, site personalization and sales intent.
