Our growing Deliverability team is currently looking for an experienced leader in email deliverability. Our Deliverability team is responsible for ensuring that all emails that are sent out are successfully delivered into our customers’ inboxes, which is a critical part of ActiveCampaign’s continued growth and success. This work involves remediating blacklists, identifying spam traps, working with ISPs to optimize sending rates and working with clients to ensure email best practices are utilized.

What your day could consist of:

    • Ensure that ActiveCampaign continues to be a leader in the  deliverability space
    • Stay on top of deliverability trends, issues & privacy regulations and be a proactive voice within the industry
    • Build out and oversee the team that interfaces with customers, approves new accounts, and monitors sending traffic
    • Ensure the Deliverability team partners effectively with customer-facing teams and deliverability strategy is provided both internally and externally
    • Ensure high levels of effective customer engagement, communication and responsiveness with great attention to detail
    • Introduce and implement deliverability strategies, technologies and processes to continuously improve deliverability performance and reputation management
    • Actively seek out solutions to automate current manual tasks around Deliverability and Mail Operations
    • Monitor delivery metrics and create plans to improve inbox placement and IP and Domain reputation
    • Scale the team effectively to align with the overall growth plans and pace of the company, including expansion of the global footprint
    • Consult internally and externally for our customers on hygiene recommendations, email deliverability best practices, IP and domain warming strategy, and optimal email deployments
    • Work with a sense of urgency and accountability, ensuring these values live and breathe within the team

What you'll need:

    • Ability to effectively build out, manage, and lead technical and customer-facing teams located in multiple geographies
    • 5+ years of experience in email delivery, ISP or ESP relations leadership role
    • Knowledge of the major ISPs/providers, email marketing, anti-spam technologies, and both the sender and receiver sides of email, (feedback loops, postmaster pages, etc.)
    • Understanding of local and international email regulations
    • Experience with reputation best practices, bounce management, blocking/blacklisting issues, strategy and email list auditing
    • A strong sense of urgency, accountability, and desire to operate within an SMB first mind set
    • A reputation within the Deliverability industry as a strong leader and imparter of knowledge
    • Prior experience within a fast-growth environmentExperience supporting global customers
