We have a team of over 40 with some working at the main studio in Los Angeles while most of us work remotely all across the US. As a Customer Care Associate, you will act as the face of the company and work directly with our customers to ensure all of their questions are answered in a comprehensive and timely manner. At Hippo we value our customers and the customer experience more than our bottom line. To be successful in this role, you will need to be an enthusiastic, well-spoken ambassador that genuinely looks out for the interests of our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming customer enquiries via email, live chat and phone calls

  • Work with the customer care team to identify bugs and escalate appropriately

  • Pass along customer feedback to internal teams

  • Assist with side projects as needed


Key Attributes:

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

  • A self-starter with problem-solving ability, analytical skills, and business judgment

  • Ability to learn and apply product knowledge to interactions with customers

  • An innate desire to help people

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer facing role

  • Familiarity with Hubspot or other CRMs a plus

  • English: Fluent

  • Part-time, 20 hours/week
