User Research Coordinator United States - Remote

We’re looking for a UX Research Coordinator to support our growing research practice. This role will primarily support IQ Server and Nexus Repository Manager, working with researchers, designers, and product owners. The UX Research Coordinator will have a strong focus on customer relationship management, and ensuring customers have a positive and engaging participant experience. This role requires experience with recruiting, scheduling, and project management. A successful candidate will be able to independently prioritize their daily work, work collaboratively on cross-functional team, and track research initiatives through to completion.

As a member of the User Research Group, you will have opportunities to be involved with UX research, writing, program management, and producing if desired.

Useful knowledge/skills include: Recruiting and Scheduling

    • Managing a database of research participants
    • Recruiting participants for research sessions
    • Scheduling participants for research sessions and product team calls
    • Managing study session logistics for remote calls (video, audio, and chat communication)

Useful knowledge/skills include: Project and Data Management

    • Managing calendars, timelines, scheduling details, and logistics for multiple research studies
    • Working cross-functionally while focusing on project completion and follow-up

Useful knowledge/skills include: Research Session Assistance (as-needed)

    • Note-taking in research sessions
    • Documenting processes and research session results

Experience and Competencies

    • B.S./B.A. (Preferred: Business, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI, Computer Science) or equivalent experience in a relevant field
    • 5+ years’ experience as a research coordinator, research assistant, business administrator, or recruiter
    • Basic knowledge of UX and UX research sessions or a desire to learn
    • Technical proficiency with CRMs such as Salesforce
    • Experience using spreadsheets (such as Excel and Google Sheets) for data organization
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Ability to work independently, managing time and projects through prioritization
    • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple projects

Nice to have

    • MS/MA/PhD (Preferred: Business, Human Factors, Psychology, HCI, Computer Science) or equivalent experience in a relevant field
    • Experience recruiting for international studies
    • Interest in process improvement, such as increasing research processes and team productivity
    • Experience with Sonatype products and/or recruiting developers and DevOps professionals
    • Experience with Agile organizations
    • Copywriting and copy editing experience
