Team Kickstarter is only just over a hundred people — still a tight-knit group, considering everything that’s happened so far. Every week brings new challenges, and every week we work together to meet them. (We also have plenty of fun together: hack days, happy hours, trips, workshops, movies, lunches, and a lot of laughing.)

We put our values at the core of how we operate as an organization — not just when it’s convenient, but in a lasting and meaningful way. We want the time and energy you spend here to have a positive impact on society.

You’ll work with creative people.

Half of us work with our community — helping backers, helping creators, and discovering incredible projects to share with the world. Half of us work on the product — building, designing, and refining how millions of people interact with the site. We do plenty more, too: we’re writers, musicians, painters, robot-builders, gamers, you name it.

We’re in New York City.

After four years on Manhattan’s Lower East Side, we moved to a beautiful building in Greenpoint, Brooklyn — an old pencil factory that we’ve made our home in one of the world’s most diverse, most exciting cities.

We like to be happy, healthy, and inspired.

We offer 25 vacation days, four months parental leave, education and bike stipends, time off for creative and volunteer work, employer-paid health benefits, and plenty more — from cultural events, screenings, and art shows to company meals and fresh produce from our rooftop garden.
